Rhododendron is the quiet stretch of the Mt Hood corridor. The Old Salmon River Trail and Wildwood Recreation Site are minutes away for easy, beautiful walks. For dinner, locals do the Zigzag Inn, the Whistle Stop, and Skyway Bar & Grill; Government Camp and the Huckleberry Inn are about 15 minutes up the hill. Trillium Lake, Mirror Lake, Skibowl, and Timberline are all within a half hour.

Alice's cabin was an absolute 10/10! The home is HUGE, with bedrooms on all three floors, multiple laundry rooms, a FULLY stocked kitchen (nice pots and pans, appliances, etc), comfortable beds, plenty of towels and blankets, TVs, video game systems, a theater room with a projector, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, a hot tub ready with spa towels, and a great outdoor seating area with a sectional in front of the outdoor fireplace, Alice even had a smores kit ready for our family! The game room had a closet overflowing with games, darts, shuffleboard, chess, poker table, you name it! We loved the spacious open concept living room with high ceilings and tons of very comfortable seating (this is hard to come by, even in bigger homes we have found, and this home has multiple couches and large lounge chairs with ottomans). The cabin was very close to a ton of awesome hikes, waterfalls, rivers and easy to head up to Mt Hood, Timberline Lodge, etc. We LOVED our stay!

We loved the house! it had everything we could imagine ever needing and Alice was 100% on top of everything. we wished we could have stayed longer! Definitely recommend

We had a great stay! We stayed for a long girls weekend away and Alice’s home had everything we needed. From games, movies, kitchen supplies, it was well stocked and really felt like a home away from home. We really enjoyed all of the different spaces to hang out. Thanks again!
